- Our Opening Times
The café is open every day from 9.30am except Christmas day.
Marigold Ice Cream shop serves Yummy Yorkshire Ice Cream and is open from 1st weekend in March to the last weekend in October.
The rowing boats are open every day from Mother’s Day in March to late October. Please give us a call if there has been heavy rain in the days leading up to your visit, if the river is too high and fast flowing boating will be closed.
Knaresborough train station, bus station and public car parks are all within a short 3/5 min walk.
- Boat Hire
WHEN CAN I HIRE A BOAT?
The rowing boats are open every day from Mothers day in March to late October. Please give us a call if there has been heavy rain in the days leading up to your visit, if the river is too high and fast flowing boating will be closed.
HOW MANY PEOPLE CAN FIT IN THE BOAT?
Boats can seat up to 4 or 6 People.
WHAT ABOUT LIFE JACKETS?
Life jackets are available on request and children must be accompanied by an adult.
HOW MUCH DOES BOAT HIRE COST?
Hire charges are per person per hour.
Adults £6 / Over 65s £4 / Children (from 6 to 16) £4 / Children (5 and under) No Charge.
DO I NEED TO PAY A DEPOSIT?
A small refundable deposit of £10 may be required per boat to validate our insurance.
HOW CAN I PAY?
Payment by cash or debit/credit card.
- Children & Dogs
Children and dogs are most welcome at the cafe. For the kids there are a selection of books and jigsaws to keep them busy and you can also feed the ducks on the river bank!
